This webinar will focus on where the biggest opportunities are at the intersection of AI & Web3 in 2024 and beyond, as well as what the biggest obstacles are today to truly scale DeAI (e.g. inference). To address these topics, we’ve got three great featured guests who will each share their perspectives on the intersection of AI & Web3 for ~8-10 minutes, leaving plenty of time for audience Q&A.

Speaker Bios

Greg Osuri — Akash: Greg is the founder of Akash, an open network that provides permissionless access to cloud resources. Akash enables anyone to buy and sell compute at industry-leading pricing — including high-performance GPUs such as NVIDIA H100, A100, and A6000. Greg’s also CEO of Overclock Labs, the creator and largest contributor to Akash. Before Akash, Greg founded AngelHack, the world’s largest hackathon org, with 200k+ devs across 164 cities. Greg began his career at IBM and later designed Kaiser Permanente’s first cloud architecture in 2008. With expertise in massively distributed systems, Greg is recognized for his contributions to widely adopted cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and Nomad.

Eric Bravick — Head of AI For the CryptoOracle Labs, a decentralized web3 advisory service which also hosts the Collective AI Web3 Accelerator. Eric has 30+ years of AI related experience and 12+ in Web3 as a CEO, CTO, V.P. of Engineering, Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) and Managing Partner of multiple corporations in multiple industries. In that time Eric designed, built, and ran complex information processing systems (mostly internet facing) for many “Global 2000” companies and many “fast rising” smaller companies and startups.

Gregor Zavcer — Director, Swarm Foundation: Gregor has been a pioneering force in crypto space since 2015. With a background in entrepreneurship and marketing, Gregor has co-founded and led multiple initiatives, including the Fair Data Society. Gregor is an expert in in decentralized storage and AI, and advocates an ethics-first approach in tech development, emphasizing privacy, data interoperability, and digital human rights to build a more secure and equitable digital future. Swarm is a decentralized storage and communication system for a sovereign digital society.
